Should I install it again and find a way through or just continue like this? I've heard some people had success installing older versions of the driver. The focusrite control panel doesn't even seem to have many options for my scarlett solo 2i2 but I'm still curious of how people are doing with the same audio interface. I uninstalled the drivers and my audio is back to how it used to be. With this, I had to crank the gain up to at least 80% to even get into same level. Make sure all of the inputs and outputs for your device are Visible and that they are listed as Active. Next, select your device below Audio System and here is where you can check Cubases active I/O (Input & Output) for your Focusrite interface. Without the driver, I'd use the gain at 25% and I'd sound just fine, without keyboard noises being picked up too much. After restarting, check if your computer detects the Scarlett Solo as an available audio device. On Mac click on Audio System > then select the device in the audio device list. I thought hell yeah it works now.īut the microphone volume got decreased drastically. My senheiser mic, through the scarlet, is now read as DEFAULT and works perfectly. The audio names changed from Scarlett USB to Focusrite Audio so yeah. after a bunch of trouble shotting, including checking the sample rates, the following solution worked for me: Settings > Voice & Video > scroll down to AUDIO SUBSYSTEM click the drop down menu to select 'Experimental'. As I could hear windows sounds, figured it's a driver issue (I've never used focusrite drivers before because it worked just fine.) Please see your Interface's User Guide from the Downloads page for which inputs your digital inputs appear as in Logic (if your device has these)Ħ) To allow the track to be recorded, ' Record Enable' the track by clicking 'R'ħ) To listen to your incoming audio - turn on ' Input Monitoring' on the track by clicking 'I'Ĩ) You can now start recording in the project by clicking the main Record button in the top transport bar or pressing R on your keyboard.Hey all, today I woke up to not hearing any sounds on my focusrite solo audio interface. For example, if your microphone/guitar is connected to the second input on the interface select Input 2.įor Class Compliant USB interfaces (Scarlett & Clarett USB) Logic Pro X does not label your digital inputs (S/PDIF, ADAT, Loopback). This sounds like its either an issue with the Scarlett or the system and the easiest way to know which one it is and focus troubleshooting is to try another system.
